This section of our website has been made available because the Bureau of Standards of Trinidad and Tobago has implemented a Standard, which for the present elliminates 99% of tyres which arrive on Japanese New and Used cars.

Therefore there is a 99% chance that the car you have selected will need the tyres changed before it can be registered at the Licensing office. Instead of bundling the cheapest tyres available onto your car automatically and adding that cost, we instead decided that we would offer you choices. Some of you will simply want a tyre that conforms, which means replacing with the standard size tyre for the car.

Others may want to go with a wider tyre, or may even want to change the rim size, and replace with bigger rims and tyres.
